Company Description The State Civil Aviation Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan is the central regulatory body responsible for control, state policy, and regulation in the field of civil aviation. Established by presidential decree, the Agency operates under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transportation. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits, inspections and surveillance of AMOs, CAMOs and other aviation organisations;
  • Perform regulatory oversight in accordance with AAR-145, AAR-CAMO, AAR-M, AAR-66 and other applicable requirements;
  • Conduct aircraft airworthiness inspections and support Certificate of Airworthiness (CofA) and Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) processes;
  • Review Aircraft Maintenance Programmes, technical records and continuing airworthiness documentation;
  • Conduct ACAM, ramp and in-depth inspections;
  • Assess modifications, repairs and other technical data;
  • Evaluate corrective actions and follow up findings identified during audits and inspections;
  • Participate in certification, approval and renewal activities of aviation organisations;
  • Prepare inspection and audit reports and contribute to safety risk-based oversight;
  • Participate in the development and improvement of aviation regulations, guidance material and oversight procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • University degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, Avionics or another relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent aviation maintenance qualification;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in aircraft maintenance, continuing airworthiness management, CAMO, AMO or aviation regulatory oversight;
  • Strong knowledge of ICAO SARPs and applicable civil aviation regulations;
  • Good knowledge of AAR-145, AAR-CAMO, AAR-M, AAR-66 and related airworthiness requirements;
  • Practical experience in aircraft maintenance and/or continuing airworthiness;
  • Experience in auditing, inspection and safety oversight;
  • Knowledge of Part-66/AAR-66 licensing requirements is an advantage;
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken;
  • Strong analytical, communication and decision-making skills;
  • High level of integrity, impartiality and professional responsibility;
  • Willingness to undertake domestic and international business travel.
