Contracts Specialist | MRO & EPC

📍 Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Specialist to join one of our subsidiaries within Nobel Energy, supporting our Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) and Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) businesses.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and administer commercial contracts, subcontracts and service agreements.
• Support EPC and MRO projects throughout the full contract lifecycle, from tendering and award through execution and close-out.
• Review contractual terms and conditions and identify commercial, contractual and operational risks.
• Manage contractual correspondence, notices, variations/change orders, amendments and claims.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with contractual obligations.
• Support project, procurement and commercial teams on contractual matters.
• Assist with claims preparation, evaluation and resolution of contractual disputes.
• Maintain contract documentation, registers, key dates and deliverables.
• Ensure contracts are aligned with company procedures, applicable legislation and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant contracts/commercial experience, preferably within oil & gas, EPC, MRO, engineering or industrial services.
• Practical experience with EPC contracts, service agreements and subcontracts.
• Good understanding of contract administration, variations, claims and commercial risk.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating contractual terms and conditions.
• Familiarity with FIDIC or other international contract frameworks would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Good command of Azerbaijani and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
