About The Role

PD&MS Group have a great opportunity for a Commissioning Engineer to join our progressive construction team based in Baku on a long term, full time basis. The role is required to carry out commissioning activities and to ensure that all systems are installed in accordance with the approved project designs and specifications and ensure work scopes are carried out on time.

Working Pattern: Employee Fixed-Term Contract / Full-time

*Please note that candidates must be eligible to work in Azerbaijan at the time of applications.

As a Commissioning Engineer you will:

• Carry out day to day on-site commissioning activities for assigned projects
• Produce regular project reports and Commissioning Completion Reports on assigned projects
• Ensure Commissioning is carried out safely in accordance with regulations and procedures
• Ensure all necessary Commissioning documentation is produced in a timely manner and co-operate with Technical Documentation teams to ensure timely delivery of O & M manuals
• Obtain buy-in to proposed commissioning plan revisions
• Achieve fast and effective handovers including the timely delivery of all commissioning documentation, training, etc.)
• Attend / co-ordinate tri-party system walk downs
• Attend off-site testing and pre-commissioning activities by suppliers or others
• Co-operate with tight change control procedures on assigned projects
• Ensure commissioning punchlist is compiled and correct actions are assigned to appropriate person
• Help to capture, communicate and apply best practice and knowledge sharing as directed
• Responsible for ensuring professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are undertaken in a timely manner
• Adherence to the company integrated management system
• Compliance with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policies

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Proven experience in a similar role that includes flowlines projects.
• Site experience in commissioning procedure and certification (e.g. GOC)
• Sound commissioning experience both site-based and in planning activities
• Offshore survival certification (BOSIET/FOET)
• Strong written and spoken Azerbaijani and English.
