Shadow teacher (full-time)

Is actively seeking to appoint the right candidate for the following position: Shadow Teacher (Full-time)

Address: Baku, Samad Vurghun street 151

Stream: International (Cambridge) Application Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or psychology
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with young children or in inclusive settings
• Familiarity with behavior support strategies and child development principles
• Patient, calm, and empathetic personality
• Effective communication skills with teachers, counselors, and parents
• Fluency in English (required); proficiency in Azerbaijani and Russian are preferred
• Able to follow class routines and the lead of the homeroom teacher

Main responsibilities:

• Provide daily 1:1 support to the student under the supervision of the Homeroom Teacher;
• Monitor and guide the student’s behaviour and emotional responses;
• Support the student in staying focused and completing assigned tasks;
• Encourage positive peer interactions and independent learning;
• Collaborate with the School Counselor, parents, and teaching team;
• Document observations and the student’s progress regularly;
• Attend meetings relevant to the student’s support plan;
• Adhere to school policies regarding student safety and inclusion.
