Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Conversation Moderator role based in Baku. The Conversation Moderator facilitates English-speaking sessions, guiding learners through interactive discussions, role-plays, and communicative activities that build confidence and fluency. Responsibilities include preparing conversation topics, encouraging balanced participation, supporting shy or beginner learners, and maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment. The role also involves monitoring progress, giving constructive feedback, collaborating with teachers on session plans, and helping motivate learners to become independent, long-term users of English. The Conversation Moderator may assist with small group activities, language games, and informal speaking clubs as needed.

Duration: 3 months

Shift Options:

Option 1- 11:00-15:00 ( Offline)

Option 2- 15:00-19:00 (Offline)

Option 3 - 18:00-22:00 ( Online)

Location : Baku State Branch

Duration: 3 months

Shift : 12:00-16:00

Qualifications

Strong spoken and written English communication skills, with the ability to guide discussions clearly and patiently.
Experience in language teaching, tutoring, or conversation facilitation, especially with diverse age groups and backgrounds.
Ability to create a supportive, inclusive, and motivating atmosphere for learners at different proficiency levels.
Good interpersonal skills, active listening, and cultural sensitivity when working with learners and colleagues.
Organizational skills to plan sessions, manage time, and adapt activities based on learner needs.
Comfort working on-site in Baku and collaborating closely with the local teaching team.
Previous experience in education, linguistics, or a related field is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related area is preferred but not mandatory.

*Preference will be given to final-year students majoring in English Language Teaching, as well as candidates who see themselves pursuing a career as an English language teacher and are motivated to develop their professional skills in this field.
